Terms of Use

This agreement governs your rights and obligations when using the Karbonsoft service. By creating an account or using the service, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

1. Service Description

Karbonsoft is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that provides corporate website creation and management services. The service is delivered with a multi-tenant architecture; each customer has its own database and file storage.

2. Free Trial

  • A 14-day free trial is offered and requires no credit card information
  • If no payment is made at the end of the trial, the account is first suspended and then deleted after 30 days
  • At most 1 trial is granted per person/company

3. Payment and Billing

  • Paid in advance on a monthly or yearly basis
  • All prices include VAT (20% for Turkey)
  • Payment is made manually via bank transfer/EFT; the subscription is activated after approval
  • Refund policy: Payments made within the first 14 days are fully refundable. No partial refunds are made afterwards

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Content published on the site is entirely the customer's responsibility
  • Unlawful, copyright-infringing or spam content is prohibited
  • Keeping your passwords confidential is your responsibility
  • You must upgrade your plan for usage that exceeds plan limits

5. Karbonsoft Responsibilities

  • 99.5% uptime SLA target (excluding scheduled maintenance windows)
  • Daily backups and a disaster recovery plan
  • Reasonable technical measures for data security
  • Protection of the confidentiality of customer data

6. Service Suspension / Cancellation

  • The customer may cancel their subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the period
  • Karbonsoft may suspend or close an account in case of a violation of the terms of use
  • After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted

7. Intellectual Property

  • The customer retains all intellectual property rights to the content they upload
  • The Karbonsoft platform, code and theme designs are the property of Karbonsoft
  • Premium themes purchased from the theme store grant a right of use for the duration of the subscription (not ownership)

8. Limitation of Liability

Karbonsoft cannot be held liable for indirect damages that may arise due to force majeure or unexpected technical failures. Our total liability is limited to the subscription fee paid in the last 12 months.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated when deemed necessary. For significant changes, notice is given by email 30 days in advance.

10. Dispute Resolution

The Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over disputes arising from this agreement. Turkish Law applies.
